静岡県浜松市出身
横浜放送映画専門学院
（現日本映画大学）卒業後、
約３年間ウェストハリウッドにて遊学
帰国後通訳、ＣＭ制作等の仕事を経て、
キャスティング会社に勤務。
1989年3月後フリーとなり現在に至る。

Born in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture,
Chiaki Tanabe spent 3 years studying
in West Hollywood after graduating from
the Japan Academy of Moving Images.
After returning to her native country,
Chiaki worked as an interpreter and also
in TVCM production before joining a casting agency.
She has been a freelancer since March 1989.

業務方法としては、制作側や出演者側が円滑に進行出来るよう補助する事を目標にキャスティングをします。尚、出演者側からの請求は出演料の透明化を図る為に、担当広告代理店または配給・製作会社に直接して頂く事をお願いしております。

As a casting director,
Chiaki's goal is to facilitate a smooth relationship between the production and the talent.
In order to keep talent costs transparent,
Chiaki asks that talent and/or agencies bill the advertising agency, production company, or distributor directly.
